These terms apply to founderscourier.com, published by Founders Courier (“we”, “us”). Using the site means you accept them.
What the articles are
Founders Courier publishes general information about starting, running, growing and selling a business, based on published sources and on our experience of founders’ stories. Every business is different. Articles that touch on law, tax, employment, insurance or finance describe general rules, mostly in the United States, and those rules change. Nothing on the site is legal, tax, financial or investment advice, and reading it does not create any professional relationship with us. Before you act on a decision with legal or financial consequences, check the current rules and talk to a qualified professional.
We work to keep the information accurate and current, as described in our editorial policy, but we do not guarantee that it is complete, error-free or up to date, or that any approach described here will work for your business.
Using and sharing our content
The text, illustrations, guides and design of the site belong to Founders Courier or are used with permission. You may link to any page, share it, and quote short passages for commentary or discussion, with credit and a link to the original. You may not republish full articles or guides, reuse the illustrations, or present our work as your own without written permission. Free guides offered on the site are for your own use.
Things you send us
If you email us, you keep the rights to what you write. If you share your own business story with us, we will not publish it, or any detail that identifies you, without your explicit permission.
Other websites
We link to other websites, tools and services because we think they are relevant. We do not control them and are not responsible for their content, availability, pricing or privacy practices. Some links may earn us a commission; our editorial policy explains how we handle that.
Waiting lists
Joining a waiting list for a book or product means we will tell you when it is available. It is not an order and does not commit you, or us, to a purchase or a release date.
Limitation of liability
The site is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of the site or from decisions you make based on its content. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Mexico, United States. If you are a consumer, you also keep any protections given to you by the law of the place where you live.
Changes
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version.
